TK Maxx in Douglas Village Shopping Centre is now open. At an event led by TV3 Xpose’s Peter O’Riordan, the store was officially opened in the shopping centre with plenty of stylish shoppers in attendance. The 21,000 sq. ft. store will bring designer labels for less to stylish shoppers featuring over 60,000 different items of this season’s must-have fashion and accessories for women, men and kids as well as homeware at a fraction of the normal retail price.  

Pat Fitzpatrick, Store Manager for TK Maxx Douglas Village, said, “There has been great excitement in the lead up to the opening today and we are very excited to be bringing big savings to all the stylish shoppers in the area. It was great to see so many stylish shoppers representing Cork today and we are sure we will see many of them again on a regular basis. With new items arriving each week, our customers will always find something individual and special at a great price.”

An extra special promotion took place in the store on the opening day itself. In a ‘Hidden Hanger Hunt’, TK Maxx shoppers searched the length and breadth of the store to find the hidden red and gold hangers and there were 20 lucky winners. Nineteen of whom received a €20 gift card and the overall winner received a €50 gift.
